FAIL

• ACT’s attempted coup against Rodney Hide. C’mon, if any minster should be rolled it sure as hell shouldn’t be Hide.
• The People’s Bank for closing branches convenient to the people.
• ZANU-PF for keeping Mugabe around. They do realise he’s 85, right?

WIN

• Tony Blair, for being a bad-ass mofo and partying it up in Prince William’s favourite club.
• Te Radar’s new blog. Thankfully, it’s actually funny, and not about hippy organic things.
• Ireland. There’s a lesson for us there – cut spending.

WTF meetings, otherwise known as the Labour Party’s caucus.

FAIL

• Andrew Williams. ’nuff said.
• The guy who (a) wore flannel to a strip club and (b) complained when Lisa Lewis ripped it off him.
• Parliament, for again failing tourist-dependent regional New Zealand by maintaining our illogical Easter trading laws. Todd “Boris” McClay was not pleased.

WIN

• Miss Gibraltar.
• The Simpsons – 20 years of holding computer animation at bay.
• The PM of Greece, for admitting his country must cut spending.

FAIL

• Tiger Woods. For getting caught.
• Hanover’s Mark Hotchin. Escaping a hostile shareholder’s meeting by taking a wizz.
• Obama – finally committing  troops to A-stan in the style of Bush, then setting an arbitrary date to pull out.

WIN

• Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer, for admitting the country can’t spend its way out of recession.
• The All Whites World Cup draw.
• Inheriting billions of dollars after living in a cave.

Parenting Fail

FAIL

• Security at the White House.
• Dubai (worryingly, their foreign liabilities are roughly the same as ours)
• Tiger Woods driving. On the road, not the fairway.
  

WIN

• Smartpay finally gets into the black.
• Those efficient Swiss, getting Polanski’s house ready for his impending house arrest
• Jaguar Landrover, also back in black.

FAIL

• Hone Harawira. Just fire the QC and leave politics – it’ll leave Parliament, Maori and the country better off.
• The All Blacks. Yes they won, but Carter had an awful game. Must do better!
• Hanover Finance – if Allied Farmers can pull their deal off.

WIN

• Julicer Pinot Noir.
• No more Oprah.
• Allied Farmers – if they can pull their deal with Hanover Finance off.
